SHOWDOG is a contemporary queer circus and burlesque duet where the performers hold the leash while also doing the barking. Through aerial rope, physical theatre, and provocative imagery, the show explores power, obedience, sexuality, and control with humor, tenderness, and absurdity. Beginning with the simple image of a dog walking its woman, shifting identities and playful role reversals unravel assumptions about dominance, submission, gender, and desire.
