Please Do Not Lift Alone is a participatory performance rooted in the artist’s lived experience of recurrent depressive episodes. A body hangs upside down, suspended and wrapped in its own hair; unable to rescue itself, it remains in a state of complete dependence. There are no instructions and no predetermined outcome. The performance inhabits the fragile space between helplessness and support, leaving what follows left entirely to those who encounter it.
