I revel in the trees for Dionysus, god of sensual liberation, madness, theatre. With his twelve toy spirits we invoke him, shapeshifting in a frenzy, dancing in Ariadne’s ever-present thread. A play of power and surrender, movement and stillness, hold and release, spin, spin, spin, circle dance with the ancestors. Narrating a death of a clump inside me, for another to be born, following grief to its twin love, open wound to the world. Ecstacy.
