Anyone is part of BANGS.
However, the Open Call is closed.

We have received around 60 submissions for this year’s BANGS. That is quite a lot, which is very exciting, but will also require a lot of time and work to sift through. From now on, we will be working with those who submitted proposals on how to make all of this really happen.

That also means, we need lots and lots of help. Sign up to volunteer! It’s quick and easy, and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Make sure to check your spam folder for any of our emails that might get lost.

But remember that anyone can BANG however they want during the festival. Later, you will still be able to add last minute events to the BANGS calendar once it’s out! This is an autonomous festival: initiate a bang whenever you want. The difference is that we need you to be more autonomous to organise your event, since we (probably) won’t be able to help with any practicalities, or at least not as much (finding a location, for instance, or helping to find certain tech). Of course, we are happy to share your event around and connect you to the rest of the BANGS group. Your event will be presented on the website just the same! Fore more information, keep an eye on the website and our instagram, where we will let you know how to post an autonomous event during BANGS.
